In March, the HHS Student Council held a blood drive at Hawthorne High School. Victor Cruz was asked to donate a box of Giants tee-shirts to help motivate students to participate in the blood drive. The blood drive was a success and all the participants took a picture with their tee-shirts on after it was done. A letter and the picture were sent to Victor Cruz in order to thank him for his support. A copy of the picture was given to Victor Cruz, which he signed for the school.
