In Media Arts I, the students are working on Faceoff. This project requires the students to take photos of two faces and morph them together to create one face.
To complete this project, students must get two photos of their own or get them off the Internet. Then using Photoshop, the students morph the images together so that they look like one new person/animal. The page size should be 8 ½” x 11″ and the files should be large in resolution. The opacity should be around 60 percent. For perfect results the students were advised to line up the eyes. The other tools that the students can use are the sponge, dodge/burn, exposure, clone, and stamp tools. Media Arts teacher John Di Lonardo told his classes not to rush because this can take some time to complete.
