The town of Hawthorne celebrated the 4th Annual Hawthorne Day at the Hawthorne Pool grounds on October 6, 2012. Several groups from Hawthorne High School were involved in making this day a success. The band, cheerleaders, and colorguard entertained the crowds, while booths offering information and fundraising sales were hosted by the Library Media Center, the Italian Club, the Class of 2014, the softball team, and the district technology department. The day ended with live music performed by The Nerds and The E-Street Shuffle, followed by a fantastic display of fireworks.
