One of the new elective courses at HHS is off to a challenging start. Junior and senior students in Joanne Dallessio’s Anatomy & Physiology class gathered around the windows of the Library Media Center to examine several types of medical images that were hung on the Library windows for easy viewing. These images included: X-rays, MRI’s, CT scans and mammograms. Students were challenged to identify as many types of medical images as possible and to interpret as much information as they could. This exposure to medical images will benefit many students planning to enter various health fields.
