Mrs. Hackett, head of the Drama Department, has officially announced that the spring musical will be How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. How to Succeed, written by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert, with music by Frank Loesser, is a timeless American classic. The original smash hit version of the musical in 1961 opened to incredible reviews, leading to a film version of the musical, along with 2 revivals on Broadway. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying has specifically appealed to young audiences due to the young superstars that have starred in the show. These superstars have included Robert Morse and Matthew Broderick. In the latest version it starred Daniel Radcliffe, Nick Jonas, and Darren Criss. Mrs. Hackett and the HHS Drama Department’s version of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is highly anticipated by Hawthorne High Students. How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying will run from April 23rd to April 26th. Opportunities to be part of the cast and crew of How to Succeed are soon to be available.
