Mr. Hawthorne Candidate Christian Wojtecki

Leah Rosado, Staff writer

Christian Wojtecki is a junior at Hawthorne High School with a very outgoing personality. The Mr. Hawthorne contest is perfect for his demeanor. Christian is a hardworking student who takes part in everything at HHS.  A Clarion reporter asked him a few questions to get to know him a little more.

Clarion Reporter: Other than being a contestant for Mr. Hawthorne what are some of the things you are a part of?

Christian Wojtecki:  I can proudly say that I’m a part of varsity football, varsity winter cheer, varsity lacrosse and I recently joined wrestling here at HHS.

Clarion Reporter: Why did you decide to take part in Mr. Hawthorne?

Christian Wojtecki: Seeing all the other guys do it in previous years made it seem like a whole lot of fun.

Clarion Reporter: Do you think you’ll win?

Christian Wojtecki: It’s honestly not about winning, It’s about having fun and enjoying it. But maybe or maybe not we will have to see.

Clarion Reporter: What do you think of your competition? Who is your biggest competitor?

Christian Wojtecki: They are all wonderful guys who only deserve the best, but my biggest competitors are probably Davius or Mike considering they’re amazing at what they do.

Clarion Reporter: Tell us something about yourself, that you want the audience at Mr. Hawthorne and the Hawthorne community to know.

Christian Wojtecki: I may be young but I am ready. And I hope you’re all ready to feel very awkward.

After interviewing Christian I have noticed that he’s very determined and all about having fun no matter how embarrassing it is. Good luck, Christian!
