On Monday, February 29 the Italian Club, led by Mrs. Fusaro, held its annual Nutella Day which took place in room 120, also known as the new cafeteria. World Nutella Day was actually held on February 5  but since Carnevale was supposed to be held on that day, Hawthorne High School’s Nutella Day had to be moved to the 29.

Nutella day is filled with Nutella cookies, brownies, cupcakes, Italian desserts, and much more! The Italian Club members baked these delicious items! Non-members only had to pay a $2 entrance fee and then they were allowed to eat as much as they wanted.

Ronny Pena, who is not a member of the Italian Club, expressed his excitement for Nutella Day, excitedly remarking that, “As a Nutella fan, I was very excited to support the Italian Club on World Nutella Day.”

The Italian Club thanks everyone who came out to Nutella Day and hopes everyone had a great time!
