KFC Coming To HHS Cafeteria

In a surprise move, the current Hawthorne High School food service provider, the Pomptonian, is leaving HHS and will be replaced by a new food service, Kentucky Fried Chicken.

At the end of this current school year, the Pomptonian will not only be leaving the high school, but the entire Hawthorne school district as well. A spokesman for the company, B. Stew explained, “We, as an organization have decided to pull out of the state of New Jersey and bring our fantastic brand of food overseas to help the poor people in Europe…and some parts of Wisconsin.”

Many bids were taken to replace the Pomptonian, and the winning bid went to KFC.

“Our brand is world famous,” said an excited Colonel Sanders, CEO of KFC, “…we cannot wait until the students of Hawthorne, from kindergarten on up, can enjoy our chicken…mild or spicy, crispy or traditional…our chicken is part of America, like apple pie or cow tipping.”

So students at HHS, get excited! Come September we will all be able to enjoy fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuits each and every day!
