HHS Spanish Festival with a Twist: Another Look
November 2, 2016
On October 28, the Spanish Honors Society held a Heritage Festival from 10 am to 2 pm.
The theme was “All Around the World” which incorporated different foods from various countries. Different stations displayed the variety of food including tacos, chips and dip, Arroz Con Leche and everyone’s favorite: empanadas.
The room was adorned with colorful ceiling decorations, painted skulls, and crepe paper entryways.
Of course Just Dance was set up and as always it was a hit. Even the teachers joined in to show off their dancing skills!
Although the Spanish Festivals are usually held by Spanish Club, the Spanish Honors Society did a fantastic job of continuing the festival activities while still having a new twist.
