This year’s No Shave November’s winner was Mr. Van Winkle, Journalism and Study of Film teacher.

He successfully beat Principal Mr. Dan Lagrone, Laith Matari, Mr. Gus Schell, George Nadirashvili, Mr. Mike Livingston, Mr. Art Mazzaca, Vice-Principal Mr. Craig Jandoli, Woj, Tamer Memkej, Mr. Chris Warner, Jared Chichizola, and others in the best beard competition. Jared Chichizola won the other award for wittiest whiskers.

Mr. VanWinkle said that he feared losing to Woj, and he did not enjoy all the itching. After the beard had grown in the itching had begun to go away and he got used to the feeling of having it there. He also said that he might keep it for a little longer and turn it into a Santa Claus beard.
