Hawthorne High School’s Mr. Hawthorne talent show is on March 4 at 7:30 PM in the HHS auditorium. The Clarion sat down with each of the contestants to get a chance to see what they think of the show and their chances to take the Mr. Hawthorne crown. They have been working day and night practicing their killer routines and are prepared to dazzle the crowds with their charm. Marc Crilly, a second time contestant of Mr. Hawthorne, sat down with The Clarion and discussed his chances on snagging the crown this year.

Clarion Reporter: What are some things that you are a part of at HHS?

Marc Crilly: I’m a part of the girls rugby team, captain of the synchronized swimming team and I am the third string mascot.

Clarion Reporter: Why did you decide to do Mr. Hawthorne?

Marc Crilly: I wanted to win the crown which Mike Dietrich stole from me last year.

Clarion Reporter: Do you think you will win?

Marc Crilly: I have very low confidence in myself, but I will try my hardest to win the crown.

Clarion Reporter: What do you think of your competition? Who do you think is your biggest competitor?

Marc Crilly: If anyone is my biggest competitor it would probably be Gio. He is pretty hot. I also think that Luke has no shot of winning.

Clarion Reporter: Tell us something about yourself that you want the audience at Mr. Hawthorne and the Hawthorne community to know.

Marc Crilly: I have no idea what I’m doing for the show…so I’m planning on winging it the day of.

Good luck Marc!
