It is your favorite time of year at Hawthorne High School! Homecoming, football games, and many upcoming activities! As the leaves begin to scatter across the ground, and the wind brushes up against creaking windows, we are all reminded that autumn has finally arrived. With the beginning of the fall season arriving, students begin to gather together and start up the school spirit once again. With homecoming right around the corner, students are excited to cheer their friends on! As the season carries on, HHS students and faculty continue to bring on their school spirit and pride!  

Eight nominees per grade were chosen from their peers for homecoming. Nominated for the role of Lord and Lady were the following candidates; Brendan Knepper, Madison Doyle, Liam McAllister, Gianna Foschini, Anthony Montone, Abby Kedl, Brian Tousignant and Mackenzie Scrivens. The nominees for Duke And Duchess are; Adam Deitrich, Jazim LePage, Jalen Palmer, Aliysha Malone, Trevor Savage, Caleigh McCarthy, and Nicole Spritio. The nominees for Prince and Princess are; Aidan Harmer, Marjes Castillo, Janbi Kaghado, Carly Manzi, T.J. Palmer, Kieran McAllister, Jack Ponticelli, and Rose Walsh. Lastly for the 2017 King and Queen nominees are; Jack Fenkart, Emily Adair, Kyle LaSpisa, Kate Moro, Rocco Pecoraro, Arianna Rojas, David Souhlakis, and Carly Spirito.                 

The official Homecoming Court of 2017 is Mackenzie Scrivens, Anthony Montone, Callie McCarthy, Trevor Savage, Kieran McAllister, T.J. Palmer, Carly Spirito, and Rocco Pecoraro! Only the second time in school history, Rocco Pecoraro was nominated and won homecoming four years in a row for his high school career.
