The Crucible Finds its Crew Managers and Cast

Alexander Nadirashvili, Staff Writer

After the callbacks for The Crucible occurred Friday, September 29, everyone who auditioned was eagerly awaiting the cast list to go up on Monday, and hopefully many were not disappointed.

Leading the play will be Bilal Meshanni and Krista Kedl as John Proctor and Abigail Williams. We are so happy that these two seniors have one last chance to get their time in the spotlight.

Meanwhile, juniors Alexa Gassler and Dani Bonafede are going to be playing the roles of Elizabeth Proctor and Ann Putnam respectively.

Sophomores such as Luis Mendoza and Kyleigh Rica will be taking on the characters of Giles Corey and Betty Parris.

Finally, the freshmen Evan Clancy and Kylie Sciarra were cast as Hopkins the jailer and one of Abigail’s many friends.

The Clarion would also like to acknowledge and congratulate Aimee Alvino, Patrick Moorhouse, Amelia Biedrzycki, Kaitlyn Melendez, Aidan Hallquist, Lauren Rivera, Dakota Brantner, McKenzie Brevet, Geena Occhipinti, Gabriella Van Sickell, Carly Weinstein, Miriam Sokolska, and Heather Scott for landing jobs as the crew managers.

There are so many more members of the cast and soon the crew applications will go out, so The Clarion wants everyone involved with this year’s production of The Crucible to know how excited everyone is to see what unique production will come about from their involvement!
