On January 4 Hawthorne High School junior and senior students received a letter from the National Honor Society telling them that they had met the required GPA which was a 90.0 or above.

The National Honor Society is an organization for high school students in the United States. The four characteristics are scholarship, character, leadership, and service. The students who were eligible then went to the meeting for the National Honor Society which was on Wednesday, January 10.

The meeting was held in the New Cafeteria and started at 2:50. The advisers for the National Honor Society are Ms. Cheryl Pasquale and Mr. Ryan McMann. They explained what was required of the students in order to be accepted into the Society.

Congrats to the students at HHS who are eligible for the National Honor Society!
