Hawthorne, the town, community, the schools, have always bled blue and white and prided themselves over those colors and the motto “Go Bears.”

Well times are about to change starting with the school colors and the mascot.

So now the question is what color and what mascot? Hawthorne really wants to step out and take a chance with brown and pink polka dots. The community figures that it is very easy to accommodate those colors.

Let the administration and Board of Education know what the new colors and mascot should be! We here at The Clarion cannot wait to see the final results!!
