HHS Poetry Day 2021

Alyssa Gordon, Editor

Last week, our school’s Creative Writing Club hosted its annual HHS Poetry Day, and it was a huge success!

As opposed to previous years, Poetry Day occurred outside in the courtyard, contributing to the success. There was music and multiple activities for students to enjoy, like blackout poetry, rock painting, mask designing, and chalk. In addition, there was live music by Estelle Barbieri at the end of the day.

It was nice for students to get some time outside, especially in a year like this one. The Creative Writing Club advisor, Mrs. Redmerski, did an amazing job planning the event. In the future, poetry day will be something that everyone can look forward to!
