Here at Hawthorne high school there are many things that students can like…such things as books. The Clarion interviewed Mrs. Schlossberg to see what her favorite books are and her perspective on them. She gave great responses and allowed the Clarion to get to know her.
There are many books that you can be interested in. There are so many different topics and genres.
Books can give you a fun escape, opportunity to learn and much more. You can read for many reasons being school, free time, work, and to learn more. Books can also be very powerful in the sense that it can change your perspective on things.
The Clarion wanted to know what Mrs.Schlossberg’s favourite book is and why she finds it interesting or why is it so special to her?
She responded with, “My favourite book is Harold and the Purple Crayon, A Young Boy and His Imagination and I love imagination.”
To continue the Clarion also wanted to know what made her become so interested in reading?
So she said, “I like reading books because I like other points of view and it gives an interesting world to jump into.”
The Clarion then asked, are there any specific themes or genres that she likes?
Mrs.Schlossberg replied with, “There actually is a specific that I like and it is suspense.”
The last question the Clarion wanted to know about Mrs.Schlossberg was, “What book changed your perspective or taught you something new?
She answered, “When I read books to teach(and then reread them) there are new things I see.”
