Hawthorne High School has many events each and every year that many love going to.
The Clarion is pleased to announce the school play for the spring, a retelling of the Cole Porter musical “Anything Goes.”
A lot of students will be trying out for the play and the competition for parts will be exciting. Many students will perform this story of riveting romance and humorous shenanigans throughout and also the wonderful songs between each part of the story, and the play shall be held in the auditorium as the performance will be directed by our wonderful music teacher Ms. Graber.
The play takes place on the S.S. America as it sails from New York to England where a popular nightclub singer and former evangelist Reno Sweeney and his friend Billy Crocker have boarded the ship in order to win the favor of Reno’s sweet heart and crush Hope Harcourt. Hilarity ensues when the story unfurls with the cast all clashing with each other in some way shape or form. as it either way creates truly timeless memories for you and those watching.
Our dedicated students and staff have been working hard at all times to ensure your utmost satisfaction with the performance and the telling of this story.
