Marching Bears Success!
October 4, 2016
Our very own Hawthorne High School Marching Band competed in their very first competition of the season at Jefferson Township High School on September 17. In the division of Class 2A (meaning a small academic division) , they competed along with two other bands: Sparta High School and High Point High School.
Hawthorne ended up in second place, while High Point placed third and Sparta came out on top.
The HHS Marching Band is working harder each and every year and are posing a greater threat to the competition. Overall, 2nd place is not a bad spot to start off the competition season, and with the hard work they put in, competition season is looking good for them.
Their next competition takes place in Randolph, NJ on October 1st.
