It has been a long time since the New York Giants won on opening day.

This changed on Sunday afternoon, the 11th of September, when my beloved G-Men beat the Tennessee Titans 21-20.

The Titans may have been favored to win the game, but after a sort of weak first half of football, the Giants continued to fight very hard. Saquon Barkley had an amazing game. Barkley carried the ball 18 times for an amazing 164 yards and 1 touchdown.

Quarterback Daniel Jones was serviceable as well, going 17/21, passing for 188 yards, and 2 TDs…an interception was his only real blemish.

Next up for the Giants is the Carolina Panthers (0-1). The game will be played at Giant’s Stadium at 1 PM.
