I hope everyone had a great break! But now it is time for school. It is hard to return to the school mindset after a long break. You just had some fun with family and friends, and now you have to come back to do some work and learn. It is not that fun coming back on a Thursday after having multiple days off. So here are tips to help you get back into that school mindset.
One thing that helps me get in the mindset is trying to think back on what you were learning when you first left. You can go into your Google classroom and see what your teachers were posting to try and get a refresher. If you think back to what you were first learning it will be easier to start learning what you’re learning now. If you don’t do a refresher, it will be hard to remember what you were doing.
Another thing you could do to help yourself is to make sure you’re organized. Staying organized with your homework tests and quizzes is very important. If you write everything down you can check every afternoon to see if you have anything due the next day.
The last thing you could do is to make sure you’re managing your time right, especially if you’re in sports. You want to make a routine for yourself so that you can follow it. If you don’t manage your time right you will be going to sleep late because you didn’t finish an assignment. If you go to sleep late it also affects you the next day and your learning because you’re going to be extra tired and not paying attention. If you messed up your sleep routine over break you want to fix it and put it back on track.
In conclusion, these are just a couple of tips that can help you after the break. Everyone knows how hard it is to come back from staying up late and waking up late. Just try these things and help yourself for the rest of the marking period.
