Anything Goes is a musical about a man named Billy Crocker who stows away on a ship to follow and show his love to Hope Harcourt. Although Hope is engaged to a rich man named Lord Evelyn Oakleigh he still tries to win his lover back.
My experience watching the show was amazing, I thought it was very funny, but also very well done by everyone who sang and acted in it. If I could, I would watch it so many times over and over again.
The Clarion wanted to ask Marcella Wolfe a couple questions about her experience with the musical as one of the actors.
The first question was “Do you have a favorite memory from rehearsals or backstage, if so what/why?” she responded with “My favorite memory from rehearsals and backstage was making new friends and laughing together.”
The second question for Marcella Wolfe was “What’s your favorite song from the musical and why?” she replied with “My favorite song is “Easy to Love” because Kyle does a great job singing it and it’s so beautiful.”
The next question was “How did you feel right before the curtains went up on opening night.” Marcella said “Right before the curtains went up on opening night I felt a bit nervous but also so excited to do this show with some of my best friends.”
Another question the Clarion wanted to ask was “What do you hope the audience took away from this musical?” she answered “I hope the audience thought it was funny and that we did a good job”
The Clarion wants to thank Marcella Wolfe for taking time out of her day and answering these questions!
