The favorite movie of English teacher Jill Hackett is Anne of Green Gables. It’s no surprise that her favorite character from the film is Anne. Mrs. Hackett explained, “Anne came from a difficult background but she was a dreamer and eventually became a great, creative teacher.” Her favorite scene in the movie is whenever Anne says something inspirational. There is a scene in the movie where Anna is with her teacher and her teacher is telling her, “It’s a new day with no mistakes in it.” She was trying to help her get over some hard times. Mrs. Hackett likes this scene because it explains that every day is a new day with new opportunities.
