With the new year beginning, most people throughout the world are making New Year Resolutions that they want to start and accomplish throughout the year. Unfortunately, 92% of people fail throughout the year.
There are many different things that people decide they want to make their new years resolution. For example; save money, lose weight, go on more walks, be more social, etc. While some people do manage to accomplish these, many don’t. By the end of the first week in January, stats show that around 23% of the people quit. 88% of people are more likely to give up on their resolutions. It is also said that some people call the second Friday in January “Quitters Day.”
Some people believe that their resolution is “too much.” They believe that they aren’t able to accomplish what they want to do, so they prefer to give up now instead of continuing trying. Most people don’t even like having to make a new year’s resolution for themselves. They feel pressured into doing it in order to fit in with someone else. “Thinking too big,” “Not ready for change,” “too lazy,” are many different things people like saying once they decide to quit their resolution.
Most people set unrealistic goals for themselves, they just can’t be bothered, or they’re too lazy to truly accomplish them.
With this information, people should begin to try and keep their resolutions instead of quitting. You have to be all in for it or else nothing will change. Begin now, or you’ll never get to it. Even if you’re afraid of change, some things need to be changed in order to be healthy.
