Senior Spolight: Michael Blaney

Throughout the 2016-2017 school year, the HHS Clarion will be interviewing students from the senior class. Next up, is senior Michael Blaney.

Blaney is one of Hawthorne High’s most intelligent and opinionated people. He is part of the National Honors Society, Italian Honors Society, The Ecology club and was once part of S.H.A.R.E and the Bowling Team.

 

Clarion: What is your favorite memory of Hawthorne High School?

Michael: My favorite memory of Hawthorne High School is when Jo Oh came to the school.

 

Clarion: Who is your favorite teacher?

Michael: My favorite teachers are Mr. Zaolino and Mr. Davidson because they are funny and both helped me and for what I want to do in the future.

 

Clarion: What is the biggest change of HHS in these passed four years?

Michael: The biggest change is that juniors cannot get exempt from Finals.

 

Clarion: What do you want to do in the future?

Michael: I want to go to college for Biochemistry and travel the world.

 

Clarion: Do you have any advice for Underclassmen?

Michael: My advice for underclassmen is to take Mr. Davidson’s classes.

 

Clarion: Do you have any last words?

Michael: Just to simply “Take Mr. Davidson’s classes.”
