Preparing for graduation isn’t the only thing HHS senior Janti Marshan has on his mind. He is ready to go to college.
Marshan will be attending William Paterson University in the fall. He has not decided what he would like to major in yet, but he is thinking about going into the medical field and maybe becoming a nurse.
Although Marshan wrestled varsity for the HHS wrestling team, he does not intend to continue his wrestling career on the college level; William Paterson University does not offer wrestling. Even if the university did, Marshan says he would not wrestle. He feels sports are very time consuming, and he wants to focus mainly on his education.
In ten years, Marshan hopes to be married and own a house. He also hopes to one day to have a career in the Airforce.
Marshan believes his education at HHS has helped him him prepare for college. Marshan stated, “I think everything I learned in high school has helped me prepare for college from essay writing to social skills.”
HHS bids Marshan farewell after four years.
