As June comes to an end, HHS will be saying goodbye to Alexandra Ross. Ross will be attending Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (LIM) College in NYC this fall and majoring in fashion merchandising.
“I hope to learn more about my passion for styling,” Ross said. “I love making people feel good and I strongly believe that if you look good you feel good.”
Within the next 15 years, Ross sees herself owning a very successful fashion business. She hopes to have started a family and travel the world with them.
Even though Ross is excited to start in the real world, she is going to miss HHS, especially her teammates who have become a family to her.
“I am going to miss playing sports for HHS,” Ross said. “I formed the best bond with my teammates on the soccer field, basketball court, and on the track. They were always so supportive of me.”
During all four years at HHS, Ross took part in varsity soccer, varsity basketball, and varsity track, receiving 12 varsity letters total. Ross was Vice President of the Italian Club, and was a member of Peer Leaders, Leaders of the Pack, and Yearbook.
Over the summer Ross hopes to spend as much time with her friends as possible. She knows it’s going to be hard to see them after everyone goes away to college. Ross also plans to work in one of her family’s businesses in NYC to make extra spending money for college.
HHS is going to miss Ross, along with the rest of the 2012 graduating class.
