During this crazy COVID19 outbreak, we’ve all been trying to keep ourselves busy while in quarantine. If you look on social media or just simply talk to other people, it is quite apparent that everyone has different hobbies they like to do to keep themselves busy. So, I thought it would be a cool idea and an interesting concept to tell the readers of The Clarion exactly what I do to keep myself busy during quarantine. Let’s see if my quarantine habits are similar to anyone else’s…

1. Exercise- Since my cheer gym is closed, I needed to find something to do to keep myself in shape so I wasn’t super rusty when my sport starts up again. So I’ve been doing things like sit ups, various cardio exercises, runs around Hawthorne and most recently, lifting with my brother and his best friend.

2. Netflix- While I dabble in watching a little bit of Netflix here and there, I never usually have enough time to “binge” a show like everyone else does. So when I have the time to do this, best believe I’m taking advantage of that. Some of the shows I’ve been “binging” are The Walking Dead, Paradise PD, Tiger King, All American, and Sam & Cat.

3. Youtube- Even when I’m not in quarantine, I’m still obsessed with Youtube and watch it any chance I can get. So now that I have all the time in the world, I’ve been on a Youtube overdrive. Some of my favorite Youtubers that I’ve been watching are Dude Perfect, Jenna and Julien Games, Tanner Braungardt, and a lot of famous cheerleaders.

4. The WWE Network- WWE has been a big part of my life since I was 3, so I’ve been using the WWE Network to take a trip down memory lane and watch some of the matches I loved as a kid.

5. Minecraft- Even though I enjoy video games, video games is another one of those things that I just never have time to partake in, so I’ve really been enjoying my time playing Minecraft. I’ve already recreated my house in my own virtual world and it’s almost an exact replica, you know, minus the hot tub and pet polar bear.
