Evan and Ethan Ramos, varsity wrestlers at Hawthorne High School, advanced to the New Jersey State Wrestling Tournament held in Atlantic City on March 2-4 with only one loss between the two of them.
The Ramos brothers both succeeded through District 6 as first place finishers at Fair Lawn High School on February 17-18. In the Region 2 tournament held in Hackensack on February 24-25, Ethan placed first in the 170 pound weight class and Evan placed second in the 195 pound weight class.
Also making it through District 6 into the Region 2 tournament was Kyle Grootenboer with a third place finish in the 138 pound weight class and William Brown with a second place finish at the 285 pound weight class.
