Ms. Wright Going Back to Cheerleading!
April 1, 2019
After many years of working in Hawthorne Public Schools as a librarian and substitute, Ms. Angela Wright has decided to resume her time as the Varsity Cheerleading Coach.
This will be her first time getting back into coaching since she began in 1978. After a long 20 years she decided to resign, but never lost her passion for cheerleading. As next fall approaches, Ms. Wright is ready to get back into the Bear Spirit!
She has many new ideas to help benefit her squad. A goal of hers is to get more boys on the team to base her cheerleaders. In addition to this she wants to bring back old Hawthorne traditions and restore the original cheerleading uniforms.
Ms. Wright also plans on adding black into the uniforms and starting a new trend where cheerleaders wear black sneakers instead of white. Finally, her main reasons for coming back is because she wants to learn new exercises and to see if she still has the ability to do a split and tumble.
