2020 European Championship Qualifications

Happening now in the world of football (soccer), we have what’s called the international break.  Which means there is a week in which players from different countries are called up to play for their national team.

In Europe there is a qualification process in which countries have to total a certain amount of points to qualify for a spot in the 2020 European championship.  The top countries so far that are currently placed first in their group are England, Ukraine, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Slovakia, Spain, Poland, France, Belgium, and Italy.  

Each group has a total of five countries. In total there are ten groups, and the first two teams that can top their group, earn themselves a spot for the 2020 European championship
