Winter is Almost Here…

Winter+is+Almost+Here...

Looking to do high school sports this winter? If you are, HHS has options for you.

We have many different sports that you could choose from. These sports include basketball, bowling, winter cheerleading, wrestling, co-op ice hockey, and indoor track. If you are interested in any of these sports, sign up now!

Basketball is a very popular sport. We have a JV and Varsity team. The head coach for our boys team is Mr. Ryan McMann.  Our girls team head coach is Mr. Todd Kenny. This sport is great to get yourself moving and just to overall have fun. If you’re good at bowling then you should think about joining the school’s bowling team! The head coach is Mr. John LaForge.

If you are interested in cheering for our school’s basketball team then winter cheer is for you! The head coach is Miss Katie Russo. So if you are thinking about joining you should! It’s a great way to get involved in school activities and you get to watch the boys basketball team play!

Wrestling is a very competitive and fun sport. If you enjoy wrestling then why don’t you join the wrestling team? The head coach for the boys team is Joe Mazzacca. This is a great sport to get you moving around.

Co-op Icy hockey can be very fun. If you enjoy skating around ice (and you can do it well) you should consider joining. Even if you can’t skate very well you should still try out. You will have to learn along the way, but you will get better. Our head coach is Nick Crouch.

Lastly we have indoor track. If you want to move around this winter, join track! It’s the perfect way to get you moving or even practice for the spring season that will be coming up. Our head coach is Gus Schell.

If you have considered any of these sports and want to join, sign up! You sign up by going to R School. It is on our school’s website in the athletics section. As soon as you sign up there you need to get your physical. As soon as you do all of this you should be set for your sport.
