49er’s and the Chiefs…the Super Bowl is Here!

The NFL Super Bowl is on February 11 in Las Vegas and the final two teams have been decided: the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the AFC Conference Championship, the Kansas City Chiefs  beat the Baltimore Ravens 17- 10. The 49ers beat the Detroit Lions 31-34 in the NFC Conference championship.

Now, for the second time since 2020 it will be the Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. The first time these two teams faced each other the 49ers were ahead 10 points in the 4th quarter with 4 minutes left. Then, the Chiefs scored within that 4 minute mark which made the score 20-17 with under 4 minutes to play.

After that, the 49ers punted the ball back to the Chiefs,  where they scored again with 2:44 left to play. When the 49ers got the ball back they threw an interception and the game was over.

This time around, the 49ers want their revenge for letting the Chiefs come back in the 4th quarter and letting them win when they had the lead.  They don’t want a repeat of what happened so they want to close it out with a win in Las Vegas to solidify that they can win a Super Bowl and beat the Chiefs in the big moment.
