The Bears who were just 2-4 in week 6 have turned their entire season around completely and are now 5-4, winning three games in a row. Which means that the Bears have made it to the playoffs! The Bears are going to be facing a tough opponent in Butler for the first round.
The Bears started the season 2-0, beating Wallington and MKA. The team went on a 4 game losing streak against Butler, Hasbrouck Heights, New Milford, and Secaucus. After this it wasn’t looking good for the Bears and the spirits were down, but the Bears battled through the adversity and they came back from this scary slump and went on a three game winning streak when it really mattered beating Saddlebrook, Weehawken, and Pompton Lakes which secured their spot in the playoffs.
The Bears have already faced Butler during the regular season. Sadly the Bears did end up losing that game 28-14. The score going into the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth quarter was tied 14-14. This game will be a very hard game for the Bears, but they are ready for the challenge of facing the reigning NJIC sectional champions.
The Game is on Oct 31, meaning that this game is on Halloween night. The Bears are away at Butler for this game just like how it was during the regular season. The Bears are hoping for your support and that you, if you can, will show up to the game and cheer them on.
