The New York Knicks are an American professional basketball team based in the New York City borough of Manhattan. The Knicks compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. They play their home games at Madison Square Garden which is known as “The World’s Most Famous Arena.” It has been the Knicks home since 1968 and is the oldest arena in the NBA. Their head coach for the 2025-2026 season is Mike Brown and he has been the head coach for the Knicks since July 7, 2025 which has been 9 months ago. Before Mike Brown was the head coach for the Knicks, he won four NBA Championships as an assistant coach, which was one for the San Antonio Spurs and three for the Golden State Warriors. This was a very exciting and rewarding achievement for Mike Brown and hopefully now that he is coaching for the Knicks, he is looking to get another NBA Championship.

However, the Yankees used to play at the original stadium from April 18, 1923 to 2009 and it has been their home for 85 seasons. Their head coach is Aaron Boone, who has been coaching for the Yankees for 9 years and this will be his 9th season for the 2025-2026 season. All other Yankees coaches for the 2025-2026 season includes Brad Ausmus as a bench coach (3rd season), Matt Blake as a pitching coach (7th season) and James Rowson as a hitting coach (3rd season).
