The Student Art Gallery in the Library’s Reading Lounge Cafe opened a new exhibit on October 9, 2013, of still life art work. The exhibit displays two forms of still life: pencil drawing and photography.
Sixteen still life illustrations by Joey Caradorri’s Intro to Art class fill the rich wooden frames along the left wall of the Lounge. Artistic depictions of a common still life are presented by the following students: Melissa Bilboa, Leon (L.J.) Kozlowski, Frances Rodriguez, Cristina Guarnieri, Meagan Scherer, Emily Skinner, Milagros Bullon, Rachael VanEk, Luke Sousa, Amanda Consentino, Stefanie Scirocco, Nicole DeSpirito, Jack Hines, Jurgen Qorja, Kat Graves, Aleks Lorenz
Complementing these pencil drawings, 15 still life photographs created by John DiLonardo’s Media Arts class are displayed across the back wall. Student photographers are: Kaitlyn Amoresano, Rozana Atieh, John Carbone, Christian Castillo, Haley Cimillo, Eric Criscitelli, Talia Firenze, Danielle Hampson, Tim Jungermann, Yousef Kawash, Briana Marsiello, Paige Stroh, and Joseph Ulrich.
