Light It Up Blue 2015

Hawthorne High School is holding its third annual “Light It Up Blue” Autism Walk. The walk will take place on the high school’s track on April 2, 2015 at 7:30 pm. Hawthorne High School’s Student Council holds the Autism Walk on April 2, because April is Autism Awareness month, and April 2nd is the National “Light It Up Blue” day.

The walk in 2013 raised approximately $900. The money collected this year will go towards a local organization supporting autism. Of course, those who participate should wear blue to the event, showing support for the cause. For all walkers, there is a $5 donation fee.
