It’s the season of love, and if you’re anything like me, your favorite thing to do this season is watch a good romantic comedy. My favorite rom coms fit a criteria that includes humor, lovable characters, and a satisfying, happy ending. With that criteria in mind here is my list of the best rom coms for your Valentine’s Day binge. 

 

10 Things I Hate About You – streaming on Disney+: A pretty, popular teenager can’t go out on a date until her ill-tempered older sister does.

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days – streaming on Peacock: Benjamin Barry is an advertising executive and ladies’ man who, to win a big campaign, bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days.

She’s The Man: When her brother decides to ditch for a couple weeks, Viola heads over to his elite boarding school, disguised as him, and proceeds to fall for his school’s star soccer player, and soon learns she’s not the only one with romantic troubles.

Crazy Rich Asians – streaming on HBOMax: This contemporary romantic comedy, based on a global bestseller, follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu to Singapore to meet her boyfriend’s family.

Mamma Mia: The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA.

Crazy Stupid Love – streaming on HBOMax: A middle-aged husband’s life changes dramatically when his wife asks him for a divorce. He seeks to rediscover his manhood with the help of a newfound friend, Jacob, learning to pick up girls at bars.

Valentine’s Day – streaming on HBOMax: Intertwining couples and singles in Los Angeles break-up and make-up based on the pressures and expectations of Valentine’s Day.

Say Anything… : A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.

17 Again: Mike O’Donnell is ungrateful for how his life turned out. He gets a chance to rewrite his life when he tried to save a janitor near a bridge and jumped after him into a time vortex.
