As the school year comes to a close, The Clarion will be on a summer hiatus. The Clarion staff would like to thank all our readers and everyone who contributed to the paper through interviews, photography and support.
Throughout this school year, the student staff writers and contributors of The Clarion published over 300 articles of interest to our school and community. These stories covered a wide range of topics from student and staff profiles, to national events such as the presidential election, to community activities such as the introduction of Hawthorne’s green map, to HHS’ world-record breaking Bubble Wrap event, to reviews of hit movies like The Great Gatsby.
Due to the high-level quality of these articles, The Clarion had many loyal readers, often reaching more than 1000 followers per month. The Clarion is proud of its accomplishments this year and is looking forward to a successful 2013-2014 edition of our online newspaper.
