February 23 was the NHL Stadium Series game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins.

The game was held at the Lincoln Financial Field. Every Stadium Series game is played outside instead of inside like normal NHL games. The first goal of the game was scored by Sidney Crosby off a turnover by Vorcek at 7:59 in the first period. At 12:06 in the second period Sean Couturier scored to tie the game 1-1. Then 2 minutes later Justin Schultz scored for the Penguins giving them a 2-1 lead. His first shot off a pass from Crosby went wide, but he got the puck back and scored from the face-off circle.

4 minutes later, Evgeni Malkin made the score 3-1 at 6:29 in the third period. Malkin’s shot hit off of Elliot’s glove, popped in the air and went into the net. The penguins only played with 4 defense man due to injuries on the team.

In the last 3 minutes of the game Voracek and Van Riemsdyk scored to tie the game 3-3 and go into overtime.

At 1:59 into overtime Claude Giroux broke through three defenders and scored giving the Flyers a 4-3 victory against the Penguins at the 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series at Lincoln Financial Field.
