On Friday, October 9, the Italian Honor Society, led by Mrs. Karen McSherry, will be hosting its first ever “Festa Italiana,” in Rooms 111 and 112 which will run throughout the school day from 10am to 2pm.

Mrs. Karen McSherry expressed, “I am very excited for this day. I believe this event will go well, and hopefully it will continue to go on throughout the upcoming years.”

Students and faculty are welcome to stop by and enjoy traditional Italian rice balls, tiramisu, sandwiches, and more. Most foods will only cost about one dollar a piece. Furthermore, there will be live entertainment, music, and face painting. Lara Bookholt, secretary of the Italian Honor Society, shared her thoughts on the planning process, “Planning the festival has been a great time and an amazing bonding experience with my peers in the Honor Society.” The Italian Honor Society can’t wait for this event and hopes to see everyone there!
